Not So Classical: Inspire is a performance that features beautiful musical works in between short films. Each short musical piece and the corresponding film vignette conveys different chapters, culminating in an uplifting, inspirational narrative. Inspire takes us on a journey; from a small town in Russia, to performing Buckingham palace for the Queen of England, to coming to America, pursuing dreams in the world of music and inspiring the new generation. The average human will take more than 672 million breaths in a lifetime. How we breath impacts every area of our life. For Amy Dickson, the study and mastery of breath goes far beyond a passion; it is an obsession. The Story of Breath is a conceptual performance piece consisting of short, esoteric films, short pieces of modern music, and very few words. Contact us for more information. In partnership with the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra we launched the world orchestral premiere of Not So Classical concept at the Carolina theater. This concert experience where music is featured in between short films stars the one and only Ken Jeong and a legendary musician Dmitry Sitkovetsky.
